We will facilitate annual Professional Learning sessions. The term "professional learning" expands upon training and development to underscore that the work of cultural competency is ongoing and continuous. The sessions may include capacity-building in implicit bias, deficit language, exclusionary policies and practices, and cross-cultural communication. We will build cultural awareness while addressing systemic challenges that could lead to unintentional barriers.
